1960's Uzbek Psychedelic Ikat Coat .
This stunning Ikat coat from around the 1960's if not earlier, is a bold piece with tons of history behind it!
The ceremonial Ikat coat originates from Uzbek to be worn by monarchs and those of wealth to symbolise riches and status. This particular gem seems to have been converted to a womens coat and have buttons added around the 1960's, the coat itself could be much older.
The sumtuosly patterened silk has a pink flowered wool lining and is quilted thoughout
