1950's Silk and Lace Black Ball Gown

Vintage and retro dealers use the word 'stunning' a little too often for my taste, rendering the word meaingless, but occasionally we get an item in where no other word will do.

So here's a STUNNING! dress from the 1950's. A step up from a cocktail dress, it's what would have been called a ball gown, bearing no labels, this has been expertly handmade by someone with real attention to detail.

The body of the dress is made from shimmering black silk with dusky pink lace panels. The off the shoulder neck line made from the same lace supported by see through net. The generous skirt is fully lined, we've shown it here with and without a petticoat.

In remarkable condition, with only minor repairs to the odd seam.
