Two framed and signed oil paintings from the 1960's- 70's by British artist Bill Hawkes.
Hawkes was a prolific artist, working in Brixham, Devon and specialising in maritime images of the local trawlers at low tide. His work sold through outlets such as Boots, presumably by painting in oils over a lithograph print, a common practice at the time, enabling artists work to be mass produced but still give the depth and texture found with oil paintings. Or they could be oil paintings of course!
Both in great condition and in wooden frames (differing, see pics)
