Large Australian Aboriginal artwork by Narrabi Nakamarra
Part of a large collection we were lucky enough to source in the UK from a collector, all dating from the late 1990s' early 2000's
Narrabi Nakamarra was born in 1950 and passed away in 2010. The daughter of the 2008 Telstra award winning artist Makinti Napanangka.
She began painting to assist her mother, eventually carving out a career for herself in the late 90's when tis work is believed to originate.
Acrylic on canvas, I confess we've guessed whether the painting should be vertical or horizontal based on where the names written and looking at similar works.
190cm x 71cm (either way!)
