We have two of these large charcoal and graphite sketches from Robert Longo's 'Men In The Cities' collection.
This duo is Gretchen & Eric from 1985, (we also have a larger solo picture of a woman with her head in her hands).
The Men In Cities series was created in the late 70's and went on through the 1980's. They feature sharply dressed men and women in contorted poses in an urban landscape.
The series has a large following and can be seen in various media, including the hit series Mad Men and the film American Psycho.
